BIO
Robert Anthony Strickland knew around the age of 10 that he wanted to become a lawyer after receiving some inspirational words from his aunt. As they say, the rest is history after that.

Robert's hunger to be the best was instilled in him by his mother, who always believed in her children and stood by them proudly because she wanted them to enjoy their lives and care about the work they did. Throughout his early years, Robert took those values given to him by his mother and aunt and really put them into action. He excelled in both sports and academics, and participated in community-based initiatives, such as working with the State Attorney's Office in Green Cove Springs and serving as a Teen Attorney in the city’s Teen Court program. Ultimately, Robert earned the Jim Thies Award and official recognition in the local newspaper for his exceptional litigation skills.

He then went on to obtain his bachelor’s from the University of North Florida and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida. While at St. Thomas Robert served as the President of the Black Law Students Association for two years, was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, a senator for the Student Bar Association, and Moderator for the Honorable Peter T. Faye Inn of Court, to name a few. Currently, Robert is actively involved in community-based programs and initiatives. He spends a great deal of time mentoring children in group called Impowered Minds that Robert serves on the Board of, a Florida non-profit organization whose primary goal is to aid children and families.

Throughout his career, Robert worked for many insurance companies, and some of the biggest law firms in the State of Florida. Many of which specialized in civil litigation, insurance defense, criminal law, discrimination, entertainment, business law, landlord tenant law, contracts, family law, personal injury, etc. In December 2015, Robert opened Strickland Law, a client-first law firm. Robert is devoted to the individual needs of his clients and makes a point to be a zealous and compassionate advocate. In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with his family, children, friends, outdoor activities, and completing home projects.
